Communication Specialist

Job description

Within the Marketing Operations Department for the Europe Middle East Africa region, you will provide support to the marketing and sales teams in the operational implementation of innovative communication concepts based on values, philosophies and entrepreneurship. Reporting to the Communication Manager, your main missions will be:

• Propose and set up a corporate communication adapted to our division, possibly in connection with a communication agency in certain countries
• Propose and implement a harmonized product communication on our region with the various subsidiaries and partners
• Create and deploy an innovative communication strategy for our future product launches
• Adapt communication to different countries and product differences
• Develop communication via social networks and our websites
• Organize events, conferences, meetings, in support of managers in different countries

You will be in contact with:

Internally:

• Portfolio team
• Sales team
• Sumitomo subsidiaries in France, Spain and Italy
• Other partner countries: Germany, and other EMEA countries
• On a more punctual basis with other departments of the company

Externally:

• Communication agencies

Profile and skills

Professional skills:

• Degree with a speciality in communication
• Abilities in communication with 2 years of experience required
• Journalist or Translators experience is a plus
• Fluent in French and in English required: written and oral, working language
• Written German skills
• Ability with communication tools: Microsoft 365, social networks and social media, InDesign, Photoshop
• A plus: knowledge of the agricultural sector, chemical industry, pharmaceutical industry

• Competencies in intercultural relations
• Ability to adapt to changes in a society submitted to international regulations
• Be proactive face to emergencies
