EMEA MARKET SUPPORT PROJECT MANAGER (M/F)

Sumitomo Chemical is a leading international research and development company commercializing innovative crop protection products both for conventional and organic farming. In the frame of significant investments in R&D, Sumitomo chemical wishes to strengthen its efficiency and reactivity in the region of Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). In this environment, two positions are opened in our EMEA headquarter for: EMEA MARKET SUPPORT PROJECT MANAGER (M/F)

Job description

Within the marketing and development team for the EMEA Area, you will generate, summarize and transfer marketing & technical know-how internally and externally.

Your main tasks will be:

• Analyze the fit between our product positioning and the expectations of farmers
• Participate in the definitions of our product strategies
• Build a consistence and competitive technical product positioning
• Responsible for the planning and the execution of product launch
• Participate in the market presentations and product leaflets

You will benefit from a large autonomy to bring forward your proposals and secure your creativity to complete those tasks.

You will principally work in relation with:

• The head of marketing and development and his team members
• The head of sales management and his team members
• The subsidiaries of Sumitomo Chemical in France, UK, Spain, Italy and South Africa

Required skills and profile

Knowledge:

• Young graduate with a master’s degree in agronomy

Experience:

• Strong experience in crop protection especially in fungicides area, customer focus, ability to work on a multi-cultural environment, technical, marketing & commercial knowledge
• European exposure is appreciated (UK, Germany…)

Skills:

• Customer focus, Flexibility and adaptability, Achievement orientation, Initiative & Autonomy, Team work ability, Impact and influence

Language:

• Good written and oral skills in English (working language)

IT Tools: 

• Workable knowledge of Microsoft Office

Additional information

• Location: France, UK or Germany
• Desired start: as soon as possible
• Contract: fixed term contract of 3 years
